in mid august, evelyne and i road tripped the west coast of the united states for a month. with our rental toyota 4runner from seattle, we have traveled five thousand miles of open roads, seen breathtaking sunsets on giant rocks, two brown bears, explored thousand year old forests, jumped into glacier lakes, escaped a wildfire, slept on the road, and made friends with squirrels.
